review of cd: bruendlinger´s first

from x-act music mag.

wolfgang bruendlinger is one of the guitarists from austria that can easily compete against the international competition and he proves it as well on his impressive new album. you could compare him to people like joe satriani, steve vai or who knows, but it doesn´t mean much. wolfgang brundlinger has made really good music for years as he has proved with the rockband "canada". it shows that in principle he has a rocker´s heart. the 5 instrumental mini-album is really brilliantly arranged- composed and played. for guitar freaks, rock fans and such people that love honest virtuoso hand-crafted rock. brilliant! - tom proll

there is more talent in the local scene as anyone would think.
at the forefront there are some really good guitarists, wolfgang bruendlinger being one of them. influenced by all the great rock guitarists this upper austrian has delivered a somewhat different instrumental album. he has successfully, through a way of holding down the tension, created an impression right from the start.

from xact music mag.

wolfgang bruendlinger comes from the list of great guitarists of the austrian music scene and easily holds the head high amongst the best of the international music. you can hear his impressive and strong guitar playing, his unbelievable technique and his feel for melodies. he is not what you might call a "fretfucker" who plays as many notes as possible in as few milliseconds as possible, he is a guitarist that uses every possibility his instrument can give and uses it to build melody. on his latest work he uses sound fragments-speech samples and sound collages as well as his detailed guitar work and arrangement technique that is totally interesting. it doesn´t matter if it´s metal-rock, blues or even jazz, he can do it all! hear for yourself the fantastic tapping solo (excitement) or listen to his mad solo (movement). bruendlinger´s string-art will take your breath away! - tom proll
